Masaru Emoto, a world-renowned Japanese water researcher, is coming to Hawaii to speak in Hilo and Kona and join with Hawaii residents to pray for the health of the Pacific Ocean.
Emoto will speak on “Love & Gratitude can Heal You and the Earth” from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday for the Hawaii College of Oriental Medicine on the 10th floor of the Naniloa Hotel and from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Aloha Theater in Kainaliu. Admission is $25.
The programs are presented by Harmonics Life Center, which is dedicated to create more sustainable and peaceful communities in Hawaii.
According to coordinators Yumi and Gen Morita, Emoto wants to unite as many people of Hawaii as possible in praying for the health of the Pacific Ocean.
“Since March 11, 2011, the four broken reactors of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plants have been releasing radiation to the air, soil and the Pacific Ocean and it can affect sea lives here, too,” said the Moritas. “Dr. Emoto believes our consciousness can alter the state of water and by praying together, there could be a positive effect to the ocean and lives there.”
On the following weekend, at 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, Emoto and kumu Keala Ching will lead a Kona ceremony to heal the Pacific Ocean, praying for all the lost lives on and after March 11, 2011, as a result of the Great East Japan Earthquake.
Those who’d like to join together for the ceremony are invited to gather at the banyan tree near Kailua Pier. The ceremony will be held at the time of the anniversary of Japan’s earthquake, which is 2:46 p.m. March 11 Japan time, which will be 7:46 p.m. March 10 Hawaii Standard Time.
